In a unexpected crossover event that breaks traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Disclosed
According to the authorized announcement, "A strange meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where whispers of banned rituals and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative features a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret sect.
The adventure focuses on "peculiar tests and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Transformations
The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
